The Amigo Stable Vari-Layer Plus Heavy features a durable 600 denier polyester outer, shine enhancing polyester lining and super snug 450gm fibrefill.

This superb quality stable rug features thermobonded fibrefill which retains extra loft, keeping your horse warmer for longer, twin surcingle-style front fastenings, a detachable neck with touch tape fastening, cross surcingles, liner loops (to attach compatible liner rugs, sold separately) and a fillet string to help hold the rug secure when the horse lies down, or rolls.

What is Vari-Layer technology?
Vari-Layer technology is the layering of thermobonded fibrefill to gain maximum heat retention without the heaviness of a standard fill - more warmth, less weight. Rugs that feature Vari-Layer technology have the most amount of padding on the back, where research has shown the most amount of heat is lost.

Why is this good for me and my horse?
For the owner it means less physical weight to lift onto your horse's back and also means your horse is carrying less weight. For horses that struggle with holding condition, or older horses this can be an invaluable tool to aid in keeping them warm and cosy, even on the coldest of nights
